Gods grace, His unmerited favor toward us is something we need to hear ceaselessly, for a lifetime. The promise of righteousness and freedom toward sinners contradicts our expectations. The law had us wired differently. incorrectly - sinners ought to receive punishment rather than pardon, incarceration rather than freedom. Yet when we begin to examine our Savior the undeniable truth of Jesus' death and resurrection changes us. We deny the resurrection of Jesus when we scream from the rooftops that "Grace simply doesn't work in this world.” For which, the only logical answer is “Well maybe it appears that way only because grace isn't from this world.” Ephesians 2:8-9 "8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
